Congress is leaving town in disgrace. What a dismal record — No budget, no health bill but still another shutdown looming.
We’re used to seeing Congress stumble, but this is extraordinary. Next on the agenda will be more dysfunction on the budget, which has a deadline of Jan. 30 — and surely won’t be met.
The unserious Democrats are anxious to publish more Jeffrey Epstein photos, while the unserious Republicans want to preserve their right to own and trade stock.
An extension of health benefits is several weeks away, as is passage of a new budget. For Donald Trump, a big goal is changing the name of the Kennedy Center.
